LOCAL PIANO DUO KICKS OFF CHRISTMAS TOUR IN PUEBLO WEST
Figueroa & Peaslee to perform in six cities this holiday season
November 21, 2019 (PUEBLO, Colo.)– Pueblo based Figueroa & Peaslee Piano Duo will be performing their annual Christmas program in Pueblo West this year at Crown of Life Lutheran Church (145 S Abarr Dr, Pueblo West, CO 81007). The program features a festive mixture of classic carols and musical storytelling. Selections range from Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker Suite to arrangements of familiar tunes, both secular and sacred to make audiences’ spirits bright.
The pair will also bring their performance to students at Pueblo West High School, at the invitation of band director George Hammersmith. “We’re featuring local talent that can inspire others to continue with music and see what dedication and practice can provide you,” he says. “Bringing in talent to the PWHS Music Program fosters further understanding and visual representations of music in various levels.” The program will be a more casual setting and include a question and answer period, providing a deeper connection for students.
In addition to their performances in Pueblo, Figueroa & Peaslee will be sharing their Christmas concert in six cities this holiday season. The duo will launch a mini tour across the state of Tennessee. “We are performing seven concerts in eight days, so it will be quite the whirlwind! Sara and I are thrilled to have the opportunity to share this fun program so many audiences this year,” Neal said. The tour spans the entire state, beginning in Memphis, passing through Nashville and Chattanooga, and ending in Rogersville.

Figueroa & Peaslee is a dynamic piano duo that shares their joy of music with audiences across the country. They formed in 2017 and have been performing together, since. Their repertoire ranges from grand symphonic pieces to delicate sonatas, as well as pops and film music.
